Hi, Iām leisha
Nutrition information is constantly changing
There is such a fog when it comes to nutrition information because nutrition science and requirements are very personalised. Humans are not static individuals that never change - we are constantly changing and our needs and circumstances change with us.
There are some fundamental elements that are the same, but for the most part, we are so unique and need to be treated accordingly.
I believe education is empowerment and that understanding what is happening for each individual client and sharing that information with them is important for a healthy life.
I utilise various testing and thorough case history notes when developing recommendations for patients, which are mostly diet driven with some evidence-based supplement recommendations when necessary. I only prescribe top quality supplements on a personalised basis only - I refuse to promote supplements or supplement programs from any company as this is not inline with my practice.
I also welcome working alongside other healthcare practitioners - in fact, I think this is the way to get the best health outcomes for any client.

ALLERgy, immunity, Chronic Conditions and Complex Cases
I specialise in allergic conditions, autoimmunity, chronic fatigue, ADHD/ASD and mental health conditionsā¦
ā¦but I work with all types of clients! Young, old, men, women, non-binary, and everyone in between!
I have my list of special interest areas, but in reality, we are complex beings that donāt simply fit in a box of diagnoses. I have worked with Hashimotos clients, chronic gut issues, weight conditions and allergic diseases and every one of those clients had a unique set of needs, leading to different areas of interest, information and testing.
Like many practitioners working in this space, my personal experience with health as been a roller coaster. From allergies, to autoimmunity, gut health struggles and chronic fatigue, I understand on a personal level how impactful chronic health conditions can be.
I believe nutrition, diet, supplements and lifestyle modification can offer a personalised and accessible treatment management strategy for the vast majority of health complaints, especially when those conditions are constant and complex.
I have a desire to bring services to areas less covered, so I am now offering face to face appointments from Gum Medical Centre at Gumeracha in the beautiful Adelaide Hills. With time, I hope to expand further into other areas, such as the Barossa and Yorke Peninsula.
If you believe there is a demand for services like mine in any of these areas, please get in touch.
Why āThe Lazy Nutritionistā?
I think ālazyā is something we can all relate to. We want to do the things but itās hard to find the motivation, time and effort. āLazyā isnāt about not being bothered, itās about finding the most efficient way of getting the job done to a good enough standard that it gets your results. āLazyā is a human way of being when it comes to tasks we donāt necessarily love, but we absolutely want to results of.
So, donāt think āLazyā, think āEfficientā because thatās what itās really about š
